Many times, in symphonic form, we can find a Scherzo as second or third movement. Alchemy has a Scherzo too, but in the fourth position, related to the psychic function of feeling.
The word "scherzo" in Italian means "joke", and factually musical Scherzos have generally some joking and playful aspects: also in Alchemy the word refers to jokes, even if not in an explicit musical sense, but with regard to the sly attitude of unconscious.

ogni qual volta si levi,
produca finimondi di fuoco
da ogni parte del mondo!
Voglio un cuore come inferno
che soffochi il fuoco dell'inferno
sconvolga duecento mari
e non rifugga dall'onde!

il cero dell'Eternità,
